Battery law (German: BattG)

Used batteries are not to be put into the normal consumer waste. You are welcome to return your empty batteries to our distribution-center exempt from charges. As a consumer you are legally engaged to return used batteries.
Contaminant-laden batteries are labeled with a crossed out dustbin and the chemical symbols (Cd, Hg or Pb) for the classification of any contaminant-laden heavy metal.

1. „Cd"  stands for cadmium

2. „Hg" stands for mercury

3. „Pb" stands for lead
